Wander Camp Bryce Canyon - Escalante sits in Cannonville, 17 km from Pink Cliffs Village and 22 km from Inspiration Point. The property is 25 km from Sunrise Point and 28 km from Sunset Point, putting guests within a 20-minute drive of Bryce Canyon National Park. The camp lies off Highway 12, requiring a short drive through a dry creek bed to reach the tents.
Tents & Accommodation
The camp offers King, Twin, Triple, and Family rooms, each housed in spacious canvas tents with real beds and fleece blankets. Beds feature mattress toppers and plush bedding that keep guests warm during nights that can drop to 40°F. Tents have no electricity, but provided lanterns and the dark sky location create ideal conditions for Milky Way viewing.
Shared Facilities & Bathrooms
Shared bathrooms are housed in converted shipping containers with flush toilets and hot-water showers available after hikes. The facilities are cleaned daily, and hand soap and toilet paper are stocked. A portable water pump supplies the showers; guests are advised to bring their own towels and shower shoes.
Outdoor Amenities & Stargazing
The property includes a garden, outdoor fireplace, picnic area, and multiple fire pits with firewood available for evening use. Walkways are lit with small solar lanterns, keeping the area dark enough for unobstructed stargazing. The rural location limits light pollution, and the Milky Way is visible overhead on clear nights.
