Each of the seven rooms at The Mulberry Inn has a unique literary theme, such as the Fogg room featuring a 1927 Model T car converted into a jetted tub with functioning headlights. The Anne of Green Gables room offers a private balcony overlooking the front lawn, while the Josephine suite includes a small balcony and a claw-foot tub. All rooms have private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs with DVD players, and air conditioning.

Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 am with a menu that changes each morning and includes à la carte and American options with warm dishes, local specialties, and fresh pastries. Guests order their breakfast the evening before from half a dozen entree choices, such as stuffed French toast, chicken fried steak with gravy, or a bear paw omelette. A butler's pantry is available with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for guest use throughout the day.

The inn sits on a quiet residential street within a 10-minute walk of Ancestor Square, which has shops, art galleries, and restaurants.
